The second study, AGE WELL, is a randomized clinical trial in healthy older adults aged 65+ and a study on expert meditators. We wwill be assessing the effects of cognitive interventions on both behavioural and biological measures. These measures include blood sample analyses and neuroimaging data. It will be split into two parts, comparing ‘experts’ to ‘cognitively intact older adults’ and measuring changes between baseline readings and those at 18 months.

All data for this study will be collected in a single centre – in Caen, France. There will be 150 participants in total across both halves of the study.

The public  study will be led by our Project Coordinator, Dr Gaël Chételat, and the expert study by Dr Antoine Lutz, both from Inserm, Caen. Find out more about them on our partners page.
